☘️ Welcome to Shamrock Leatherworks we are a firefighter owned and operated small business located in Fortville, IN. We specialize in high quality handmade leather goods. My name is Zach Shlater I've been involved in the fire service since 2008 starting in the Fort Wayne, IN area before relocating to the Indianapolis area in 2016. I'm currently a Lieutenant / Paramedic at a department just outside of Indianapolis. I’m married with two children who often help supervise in the garage while products are being handcrafted! 

The name Shamrock Leatherworks comes from a business idea a close friend and I had back in our younger years when I was repainting leather helmets and he was doing leather boot polishing. 

I realized my interest and love for leather making while working for another company. After leaving that company and having constant requests from people around the firehouse while also having the drive to want to continue leather making I decided to start my own business. I will be offering many of the products that I either designed/ helped design/ influenced, and/or suggested in the past to others along with many new products!
